Step 2: Review Your Diet Plan

To lose weight, you need to have a negative energy balance. This means that you have to use up more calories then you eat. Some people also call this "negative net calories" for a day.

The Diet Plan tab shows you how many calories you need to eat every day so that you can lose weight, and how long it will take you to get to your target weight. If you are following Weight Watchers, this will show you how many points you should have per day.


If you want to lose weight faster, try adding an exercise program! You will lose weight faster if you exercise, even if it is just a 20 minute walk every day.

Your Metabolism
This area shows you where you are at for the weight and other information entered onto the personal profile tab.

Your Nutrients
Click the Nutrient Profile button near the bottom of this page to see which Vitamins and Minerals you need each day. You can also find out more about the function of vitamins and minerals.
